This is used to start a fire or gas stove in any conditions. If it gets wet or freezes it still works.

Very light and compact so its easy to carry around. Can be used as a rescue signal at night as it produces a bright spark

How to use
1) Prepare some material that will catch fire quickly like paper, small twigs, or even some cotton from your jacket in a survival situation.
2) Gently scrap off some of the rod onto the material.
3) Now give the rod a firm strike so that sparks will ignite the powder you just scraped which will in turn quickly ignite and the material placed.
4) Once you have a small fire going, gradually add on more twigs and branches and ......
5) YOU HAVE A FIRE

Comes with 1x rod and striker so you dont ruin the blade on your knife.
